We’re experiencing significant organic growth leading to high demands on our development and operation teams. So we’re looking to add an experienced Progress Openedge software developer to work as part of our in-house development & support team on our ProERP system reporting to our Development Manager.
The software is designed, developed, and supported in-house using Progress OpenEdge and uses a character user interface (CHUI) and used by some very large clients within the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry. ProERP integrates with many other systems and therefore knowledge of integration methods and processes and different protocols will be very advantageous.
In this role you would need to have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You should be enthusiastic about our products ensuring that all software we develop and release to our customers is of the highest quality and to be passionate in everything that you do for the business and our products.
Your main objective will be to design and develop both changes to existing functionality and design and develop new functionality for ProERP. Your role will also include providing customer support where you will be required to engage with customers and take responsibility for support issues raised through to resolution, working with other team members whenever required to provide necessary solutions.
Full training on our software technology will be provided.
