Dale Farm, part of the United Dairy Farmers Group, operates 5 large dairy product manufacturing sites in the UK & Ireland and operates in 45 countries. It needed in improve picking rates and traceability via hand-held terminals in its central distribution centre. We employed In-DEX Voice Middleware, which seamlessly interfaced with its ERP system. Wm Morrison plc serves 11m UK customers weekly in 500 stores and via its its online delivery service. Due to high pre-Christmas volume in its 105,000 sq.ft Winsford, Cheshire meat processing plant, and at short notice, it needed to set-up an alternative chilled warehouse operation.
